What Are Dental Implants?
An implant is a synthetic tooth root, usually made of titanium, in the shape of a post that is surgically placed into the jawbone. A replacement tooth cap is then fixed to the post and can be non-removable or attached as removable. This gives the patient restored function and appearance of the missing tooth. At 30A Smiles, we able to perform an entire implant procedure within our Inlet Beach office. While other dental offices will have to outsource parts of the procedure, we are able to complete it all in-house. This way we are able to save the patient a significant amount of time, cost, and headaches.
