All-on-4 at 30A Smiles
All-on-4 is an advanced procedure that requires a great deal of planning, and a multi-disciplinary team of doctors and support personnel in order to be done well. At many dental practices, a standard diagnostic work up for All-on-4 begins with a CT scan, or 3D image of the patient’s head, jaws, teeth, and associated structures. Next, a dental surgeon, who will actually do the surgery to remove the old teeth and place the dental implants into the jaw bone, must work in close collaboration with a restorative dentist, who makes the brand new teeth which will be anchored onto the implants. A dental laboratory technician is also needed to fabricate the teeth and incorporate the implant components into them.

An implant-supported removable denture is an excellent option for patients seeking dentures as they are held securely in place during chewing and speaking. Compared to traditional or custom dentures that are secured with adhesive, implant-supported removable dentures use a snap mechanism making them easy to remove or snap back into place. Some lifestyle benefits associated with them are the ease and comfort they provide when it comes to smiling, laughing, speaking, and eating as it gives the user confidence their dentures will stay in place and not slip.
Fixed Implant Dentures
Fixed implant dentures look and feel like natural teeth. There is no worry about them shifting, falling out, or even losing them as they cannot be removed. One of the amazing benefits of receiving non-removable denture implants at 30A Smiles is our ability to do the entire process within our Inlet Beach office. Depending on a patient’s needs, we can complete either an All-on-4® or All-on-X. Compared to removable implant-supported dentures, fixed denture implants are more hygienic as they are not placed outside of your mouth on bacterial surfaces.
